Topic: Problem with Current Website with Frames

I have been asked to create a new design for a website that uses frames (I know but it was created ages ago and there are far too many pages to restructure at this point).

I am trying to create a home page that uses a larger banner or header than the rest of the pages because the site owner insists that the header be no larger than 150 px.

My question is:  Can I create a a new home page with a frame that is larger than the frames on all the other pages and add it to the site?  Or can I add a no-frames home page and add it to the site?

The website owner also insists that it NOT be a spash page and must contain a menu and links to the rest of the site.

I'm at a loss as to how to do this.  Anyone with any suggestions or information on how this can be done?

Thanks for any help!

Re: Problem with Current Website with Frames

I'd make new home page without frames - just plainly code its HTML with all the content in one page; would be good improvement for the website anyway. Just create a test-home page, link to it other pages and test.
