Topic: Closing in on 10 000 post on the new forum.

Hi,

I just noticed that we are closing in on the milestone number. So after 9000+ post, how are you old timers liking this forum vs the old?

... I know I've asked before, but there is new perspective to be had after things are given a chance to sink in.

What old forum? There was an old forum?

The 2 things I'd still like to see is when someone has last logged in (other users, not myself) and the ability to delete all posts by one spammer with one strike.

Just because my computer is online does not mean that I am.

Did you join us only on this forum?

... I transferred a lot of post rankings for members from the old forum.

Nope, I had 600-700 posts or so on the old forum, and you did transfer my post count.

Also, I agree with Thelma's two comments...

I've put someone on it to take a look - display users last log in date.

... I think in the admin panels you can mass delete someone. You moderators don't have that ability?

hmm

I have looked, but I'm not seeing that option. Perhaps (since I think you have said before that you can do it) it is an option for administrators only, not moderators.

Re: Closing in on 10 000 post on the new forum.

I'm a new addition not an old timer and I love this forum.
The only comment I would make is about the New Posts function, it only seems to work the first time I come back after leaving the site. Once I have answered a post and hit New Posts, rather then browser back button through the posting etc. the only thing that shows is the new post I just wrote and none of the others that I didn't even read and which I consider are still New Posts for me.

I have the same problem with New Post not staying on my list until I read each one.  Stef, I think you should really figure what the cause is. Invoke some help from the developers of this software if you have to.

And OH!...signatures....I miss the signatures!

Otherwise, the forum is better than the previous.
