<ul id="navigation">
<li><a href="#"Page 1</a></li>
<li><a href="#"Page 2</a></li>
<li><a href="#"Page 3</a></li>
<li><a href="#"Page 4</a></li>
<li><a href="#"Page 5</a></li>
</ul>

And use CSS to style it any which way you like.
