Helo All,

I would like to use a gallery on a web site so that when you click on a thumbnail a larger image opens. I have some code (lightbox) but how do I size the thumbnails.

The images I have are in different sizes and orientation, so if I re-size them they come out different. I would like to use 200 x 200 thumbnails but the portrait ones are different to the landscape ones. Should I crop them into the required size but that means I would only be able to have part of the larger image on view in the thumbnail?

If this is the best way then I could do this but I just wanted to check.

Best wishes

Hello, I am trying to make 8x10 image (a poster with collage pictures in it) in Photoshop, and I want to get this image printed through Wal-Mart on 8x10 paper. When viewed at 100% the image seems very large. I am not sure if this image when printed will be the exact 8x10 or if it would be larger than that. I can't figure out the right image size / pixels to set the image to get a coordinating 8x10.

Here is Image size:

Document size:
W: 8 inches
H: 10 inches

Pixel dimensions:
W: 1600 pixels
H: 2000 pixels

Resolution: 200 pixels/inch

How can I make sure that I have the 8x10 image that gets printed exactly without any automatic cropping by the printing dimensions? Could anyone please help me out? Thanks!

Hi there
I have a few questions:
First- How do I take pictures from a cd and make a "batch" in photoshop to then follow these instructions:

"I created and recorded an action that...... first resized each image, placed the marking over the top, put her sig in the corner and then her site name under this. stoped recording and saved it then having all the originals in various folders I told each batch comand where to grab the photo's from and save them to a different folder. Once that was set I ran it and walked away and made coffee while photoshop did all the work....... it was brilliant and took about 5 minutes to do about 400 photo's"

Second- how do I create and record an action that will place a copyright mark with my logo? I need more specific step by step instructions on how to create a batch and make photoshop overlay my copyright symbol with logo on a group of about 100 photos.

Thanks so much,
Jahara

Does anyone have any good resources for PSD design? Besides PSDTUTS, WebDev, PSDTop, Tutorialized and VandelayDeisgn - does anyone have any other websites / resources they can lead me to for essential training on layouts and how to use the gradiants, filters etc properly for effective and beautiful aesthetics?
