That tends to be something that should be done by other departments for a seamless transition across all mediums a company uses. I guess after working for so long, its a good idea to touch different realms and explore new paths. Essentially I think web designer are NOT icon artists. But icon design is an art all its own, just as print design is much different from web design. They're not interchangeable talents!
